Peephole Security warrants all its Products to be free of defect in workmanship or material under normal conditions, for a period of twelve (12) months from the day of shipping to the customer. Under this Product Warranty, a door viewer that was properly installed and is found to have a defect in workmanship during the warranty period will be repaired or replaced by an identical unit, or if it is no longer available, a comparable model to the original viewer.

The foregoing warranty excludes and does not extend to any defect due to the negligence of others, incorrect or improper installation, unreasonable use, accident, alteration or ordinary wear and tear. The foregoing warranty is in replacement of and substitution for any implied or statutory warranty whatsoever, all of which implied or statutory warranties, including, but not limited to any warranties of fitness for any particular purpose, quality or merchantability of the Product, are excluded. Peephole Security is not liable for any consequential damages arising from the purchase, installation or use of Products and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, shall not be responsible for loss of use of the door viewer or the door or barrier upon which it is installed, loss of time, inconvenience or other incidental damages with respect to business or property, or for personal injury, death, property damage or loss due to any cause whatsoever, including, without limitation, breach of warranty, negligence or otherwise.

1. The Customer wishing to make a warranty claim must first complete a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return by FAX or email. The defective Product must be shipped prepaid and insured against lost to Peephole Security at the Customer's sole expense, together with a copy of the original invoice as proof of date of purchase and shipping of the Product. Items returned without previous RMA notification, or without including the requested documents will not be processed.

3. Peephole Security will inspect the returned item for defects in workmanship and if it finds the warranty claim to be legitimate, repair or replace the product and return it to the customer pre-paid.

1- Customer wishing to return a non-defective product for any reason other than defect in workmanship must follow the same procedure as a Warranty Claim above.

2- Request to return a product must be made as soon as possible but not later than 30 days from the date of shipment of the product as confirmed by the invoice. The product must be in new condition and with all the packing material intact.

3- Upon receipt of the product and inspection confirms that it is in new condition, Peephole Security will refund the purchase price paid. A re-stocking fee of 15% may be applied if damaged or if any part or packaging is missing.

4- The shipping charge is an expense already incurred and cannot be claimed or refunded. Funds will be deposited to the same account from which the purchase was originally paid.

Customers wishing to install the Door Viewer themselves may contact our technical department by email or phone for any questions, tips or instructions they may require to complete the installation successfully. PeepHole Security will provide instructions in good faith, but the customer assumes the ultimate responsibility to ensure a proper and safe installation. PeepHole Security accepts no responsibility for any improper installation, damage or injury caused by or during the installation of the door viewer by the customer.
